Fee questions
Is the stairs fee per appliance?
No. The stairs fee is charged once per delivery, whether we bring one machine or two.
How do I count flights of stairs?
A flight is a full set of stairs between floors, usually 8 or more steps. A few steps at the front door (1 to 3) are free. A basement counts as 1 flight unless it is a walk-out we can roll into at ground level.
How do you know my zone?
The order form looks up your ZIP code and shows the zone and distance fee right away. If your ZIP is outside our listed zones, we show an estimate and confirm by address.
Why would a fee need to be confirmed?
Deliveries up 3 or more flights and addresses beyond Zone C vary a lot, so we confirm those fees with you before delivery. You will never be charged a fee you did not agree to.
Do you charge for hookup or haul-away?
No. Standard hookup with new hoses, a 3- or 4-prong cord and vent connection is included, and so is haul-away of your old unit. Gas hookup is $60 and a special cord for a stove/range-style (50-amp) outlet is $45.
